With the arrival of Spring and the full bloom of Japan’s famous Sakura cherry blossoms, Master Chef Shigeru Hagiwara of Yamazato Restaurant celebrates with a special Gozen lunch menu and a selection of delicious à la carte dishes featuring the freshest of springtime ingredients. Highlights on the menu include assorted sashimi and tempura, plus seasonal delicacies such as Hotaru ika (firefly squid), Asari (short-neck clams), and succulent Sakura shrimps. Also guaranteed to tantalize the taste buds are Sawara Sakuraebi – Spanish mackerel with Sakura shrimp sauce, elingi mushrooms, eggplant, paprika, leeks and parsley; and Hamaguri kinmedai namanori nabe – Hamaguri clams with red snapper, radish, shiitake mushrooms, and nori seaweed seasoned with yuzu pepper.
