Autumn Promotion at Yamazato
Master Chef Shigeru Hagiwara and his team at award-winning Yamazato celebrate autumn in Japan with a series of seasonal treats in Gozen lunch and Kaiseki dinner menus. Highlight dishes of the Gozen lunch are simmered Pacific saury with ginger and tofu skin sauce and tempura featuring Ochi-pike eel. On the Kaiseki dinner menu is a delicious starter of octopus, shrimp, sea snail, maitake mushroom, and ginko nut with fermented bonito guts egg yolk sauce and a wonderful simmered dish of sea bream with turnip, grilled leek, shiitake mushroom, and a hint of ginger. The dinner menu also has a hearty grilled offering of sea bass and beef Hoba yaki garnished with eringi mushroom, ginko nut, pickled turnip, and simmered chestnut.
