What people say about us

"A class of luxury combine with excellent service"

Pierre668 on 08/12/2019 -

Although it cost more than US$350/ night for a deluxe corner room in not really spacious room size but we had a room with great cityview, elegant modern decor, a fully comprehensive coffee bar plus excellent service, it's worth of its price. Will return again.

"Coming back home"

D. E. 1990 on 06/12/2019 -

I visited this hotel for the fourth time and always feel like coming back home when checking in at the Okura Prestige Bangkok.

The service is extraordinary, everybody at the hotel is friendly and good at speaking English. I arrived by car and used the great (and free) valet parking service.

After the check-in I was guided to my room and everything was explained to me. You get an exceptional view over the city from every room. The rooms are always perfectly clean, modern (as the whole hotel), well tempered and come with a very comfortable bed.

The highlight of the facilities is the infinity pool with its view around Bangkok. For me the best place to swim in Bangkok.

There are two options for the breakfast. A traditional Japanese breakfast and a outstanding buffet breakfast with additional (free) a la carte options. The latter offers everything and more from what you can expect from a five star hotel and also different kinds of warm Thai food.

For dining I tried both the Elements and Yamazato restaurant. The Elements even became one of my favorite Michelin starred restaurants worldwide. The mix of Japanese and French cuisine is always fascinating and the restaurant also comes with a very attentive service. The Yamazato is also a good option (I visit it when the Elements is closed from Sunday to Monday) with very good fish and seafood. The service is nice as well.

The "up and above" bar offers good drinks with a beautiful rooftop view.

When traveling I prefer to choose hotels that are members of The Leading Hotels of the World. And even within this circle the Okura Prestige Bangkok stands out with its service and kindness. It's my first choice in Bangkok and I'm already looking forward to my next stay.

Sincerely, D. E.

This is the first time we visited Okura Bangkok but like other Okura hotels that we stayed before once you stepped in the hotel the atmosphere, the smell and the simile of the staff made us felt being at home!

The location of the hotel is extremely good. You can get access to Phloen Chit BTS station from Okura by passing through the commercial building at the ground level and yet you can enjoy the quiet proximity surrounded by five star hotels!

Despite the fact that there are thousands of good restaurant I still recommend you to try the Thai style food from room service and I swear that you will not regret!

The other must try dining options in Okura is the Yamazato Japanese restaurant and after patroning this you will know why I higly recommend you a Japanese restaurant in Bangkok!

Well done Okura Prestige Bangkok!

Absolutely fantastic- would definitely recommend having any type of function here, the service is superb and the chefs are amazing- Varin the director of events definitely takes your ideas and makes them happen- highly recommend.

"Beyond Expectations!"

After looking at nearly every hotel in the area we chose The Okura Prestige and we are glad we did!

I was fortunate that they were able to provide the exact room location I requested. I was taking my girlfriend there for a special birthday so they had a nice card and cake in the room when we checked in. We had a small issue with the room and the Hotel staff immediately responded and fixed the problem (seriously outstanding service). Unfortunately, I was pretty sick and couldn’t take my girlfriend to a birthday rooftop dinner I had planned, so I asked the Hotel Front Office Manager to help me make it a special day for her as much as possible. I booked a spa treatment for her around 8pm and when she got back to the room there was chocolate covered strawberries and a stuffed animal. Their hospitality and understanding of the situation was second to none and I can’t thank them enough for how well they took care of us.

Their rooms are beautiful and the views are amazing. The front desk workers and Concierge were awesome and the staff in their restaurants were second to none. Later in the week when I started feeling better we got to enjoy the infinity pool which was spectacular and we especially enjoyed the Happy Hour drinks and nighttime views. It was so relaxing! Another reason to stay at The Okura Prestige is that it is literally connected to the BTS which makes it extremely simple to get around Bangkok. Last but not least was the breakfast. I’m not sure how anyone can complain about their International buffet because it had something for everyone. Both my girlfriend and I looked forward to it every morning and were disappointed when we couldn’t go there on the day we were checking out due to an early flight.

Simply put, if you are thinking of staying at The Okura Prestige while in Bangkok, do it because you won’t regret it.

A special thanks goes out to The Front Office Managers. I can’t remember both your names, but Nawarat Hassanawin is great at what she does and so is her counterpart! Your company is fortunate and should be proud to have people like you working for them!

  • Excellent stay

Had a pleasant day at The Okura Prestige Bangkok over the weekend. Was there for our wedding anniversary and was very pleased with the attentiveness of the staff! We were given complimentary cake and fruits platter. Breakfast was great! Love the a la carte options for eggs during breakfast. My husband and I love the French toast very much. Great location near BTS and sky walk. Will definitely return again!

  • #1 choice in Bangkok

Out of multiple stays in Bangkok the one at Okura was most pleasant and memorable. It is cute little gestures that make your stay unforgettable – origami swans and cranes thoughtfully left on my bed every day, entirely filled up my bedside table at the end of my stay

  • Highly recommended for anyone looking for a wedding venue

Staffs are very professional with excellent services, the venue is really nice and beautiful and the food is really great.

From our own experiences with our wedding on November 8th, 2019, got excellent assistance and support from Khun Nong (Varin) and every staffs we encountered. In every steps from preparation to our wedding and even after the event, we got a really good support from K.Nong and teams.
Thank you so much to K.Nong and teams for our wonderful wedding. And this venue is highly recommended!

  • One of a kind

The beautiful hotel in the center of the busiest road in Bangkok with an extraordinary service.
I have a chance to stay at The Okura Bangkok and I highly recommend everyone to try out one of the best hotel in Bangkok. Not because of the facilities but the service here make the difference. Specially highlight to Khun Sasithorn at Yamazato restaurant. Thank you and definitely come back again.

  • Cozy place to stay in Bangkok

Very nice Japanese style service and room decor. very good view in the breakfast restaurant. Our family has a good time in the hotel this time. Well communicated in English between staff and customers. Very friendly with children.

  • Look no further

Best hotel I have had the pleasure of staying in bkk hands down. staff are friendly, helpful and absolutely accommodating. attention to details in the rooms are out of this world! will come back 100%

  • Excellent as always

Having stayed in the Okura a number of times before it was our natural choice when returning to Bangkok, and we weren't disappointed. The service and accomodations were as excellent as always. There was a big ASEAN summit happening in and around the hotel at the time we stayed - other hotels would have seem stressed, but the Okura didn't even break a sweat delivering the same top quality level of customer service throughout.

All the staff were excellent, but a special thank you to Crystal in the club lounge who was very kind and helpful helping us package up some items on our last night.

  • Best choice in Bangkok!!

I stayed here for 2 nights and it was absolutely the best. The service level is beyond amazing. Each and every staff-member is super friendly and truly knows the meaning of hospitality (this is so important!). I cannot thank the staff enough for making my stay so special. I have been away from home for 2 months now and the Okura team made me feel at home from the second I entered the hotel. I can recommend this hotel to everyone. A special thanks to Chief Concierge Khumpol who made the impossible, possible!

Thanks again and I will definitely be back!

  • Wonderful Service, Beautiful Hotel

After spending 21 days hiking through the Himalayas, I thought that a little pampering on the way home was in order, and the Okura Prestige certainly delivered. Beautifully appointed rooms, amazing food choices, well-appointed gym, perfect day spa & the staff were efficient, helpful, courteous and friendly. Opal in the club lounge was perfection personified (thank you Opal!), and the concierge is now my most favourite person in Bangkok. Nothing was too much trouble for him - to answering our questions, providing directions, organising suitable tours, and to getting us out of the hotel without running into VIP guests (35th Asean Summit). Anytime I called for services (laundry, room service etc), it was provided immediately & courteously. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

  • Stunning in Every Way!

Thank you Okura Prestige Bangkok, I am officially hooked! Impeccable customer service from the moment I reserved my room, to the scheduling of the car service (airport transfers in a Mercedes with a private driver - not a bad way to go!), to the greeting upon arrival where my bags were whisked away and promptly delivered to my room, to the seamless late night check-in at the front desk, and gazing around at the absolutely gorgeous interior of this hotel. I knew immediately I had made the right decision by staying here! The room was just beautiful, with a little origami crane on my bed to greet me, and that bathtub! Oh that glorious bathtub! The room service meal I had was utterly delicious! The views out my window the next morning while I drank my tea were simply breathtaking. The pool and views from the pool, both at night and during the day, were one of the most amazing city sights I have ever laid my eyes on. The spa was so serene and peaceful, and the massage was so good, I think I fell asleep in the first 30 seconds.

Definitely worth mentioning is the most unbelievably delicious and splendidly laid out breakfast buffet you have ever seen in your life. Extremely polite and helpful staff. By the way, very convenient to the Sky Train. A truly magnificent hotel in every way! The only thing I would change is the length of my stay! I was very sad to leave so soon, and can't wait to go back.

  • Wonderful Hotels Perfect Location and fabulous breakfast

Located in the central business district of Bangkok the Okura perfect hotel you choose

You will greet by the lemongrass essence everywhere. The bed was marvelous view from the room and the pool all would be no reason for me to complain

The staff were flawless speaking in English. And quite helpful

    Thank you Okuraaa

  • Amazing Hotel

Definitely one of the best hotels that I've stayed in my life.
Thai and Japanese hospitality together is the best combination and The Okura Bangkok really impressed me.
Amazing rooms with lots of ammenities and superb breakfast. Hotel staff is super friendly and helpful.
I recommend this hotel for business, for families, honeymooners and whoever wants to stay in an amazing hotel. Location is also another plus (very convenient access to BTS SkyTrain). Walking distance from Central Embassy Mall and to many cafes, shops and restaurants.

  • Better location than on the river (Mandarin Oriental, Shangri La etc)

Absolutely perfect hotel. All rooms located from the 26th floor and above. Fantastic views from rooms. Rooms excellent with automatic toilet. Breakfast buffet superb. Pool on the photos from hotel does not justify how great this pool area really are. Very nice area of Bangkok with a number of upmarket restaurants in nearby shopping center.

  • Great location and service

Okura is one of our favorite hotel group. We enjoyed very much having a drink at the club lounge after a day out in the heat. Our club room is spacious and has basically everything we might need. The hotel is linked to the BTS station and some shopping malls too. The buffet breakfast is of good quality and offers a great variety. They even have an egg menu. They have complimentary soft drinks & beer in the mini bar but the mineral water are not. Overall, it’s a good choice for visiting the city.

  • Immaculate, Just Beyond Expectation

We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel for a trip to relax in Bangkok. We have been to some other hotels in the group so had some expectation. Frankly, what we have experienced here was much beyond our expectation: staff were warm and helpful, architectural design is interesting and you can feel the thoughts of the designers from layout and design every bit of which is intended to make your stay comfortable and convenient, the elements found in the Japanese. As many have pointed out, convenient and central location of the hotel, decent size of the swimming pool, vast variety and exceptional quality of food provided at the breakfast, presence of Michelin-starred restaurants all provide great enjoyment not only to business travelers but everyone who stays here.

We would like to mention in particular the assistance we received from Mr. Khumpol Ruksanit, the Chief Concierge, who is the most professional and helpful concierge staff I have ever met in my many travels. In the few times when we sought his assistance in making bookings and arranging transportation, he had not only made his utmost attempt to meet our needs but had walked extra miles to make arrangements for better alternatives even before we mentioned it, while at all times seeking our views and respecting our choice.

We consider our stay at the hotel the most we have enjoyed during this trip. We will definitely come back again, soon.

  • As smooth as silk

Nothing was too much trouble for this hotel, service was exemplary, food delicious and bed very comfortable. I love the origami on the pillow instead of chocolate.
Good space for makeup, separate makeup mirror and good lighting for makeup.

  • Elegant and Luxurious Oasis in Bangkok

I booked my stay at the Okura through the Chase Ultimate Rewards Portal and, quite frankly, had no idea what to expect. What I encountered was one of the most elegant, relaxing stays in all my travels. The lobby is located on the 24th floor of the high-rise, and immediately upon arriving, you're greeted by a line of from desk staff eager to help you check in and get to your room. I stayed in a corner room on the 29th floor and loved the 90-degree view of the city (the pre-sets on the control pad next to the bed made it easy to raise and lower the sun-shades and blackout curtains as needed). The elegant Japanese architecture left me surrounded by clean lines fashioned from wood and marble, and the best was by far the largest I've ever slept in. The nightly turn-down service, with it's daily origami animal and Yakata was a nice touch. The hotel's location in Sukhumvit makes it easy to get to most work meetings, as well as shopping and nightlife, while also not being too out-of-the-way for most tourist activities. And the daily breakfast buffet was quite good.

  • Just perfect

I stayed 2 nights with my wife and i can just say it was perfect all around. Typical Japanese high end service and quality in the middle of Bangkok. The staff is super friendly with special thanks to Pimsuda. We highly recomend this for the perfectionists.

  • Amazing Okura

We stayed in Okura Prestige over the 2019 New Year. The hotel had a magnificent location near all the major malls. Staff had exceptional service and the room was perfect for my family (4 in total). Breakfast was more than adequate and we also decided to have New Year dinner with a Kaiseki meal from their in house restaurant. I was able to use their gym which was complete and spacious.

Overall I recommend this hotel because of the luxury, amenities, location and most of all the food.

  • Super!!!!!!

It was a great experience of quality of service, everything was just WOW! thank's to everyone over there specially the GM Mr. Hammer for the hospitality. The breakfast was amazing, the food is just devine and the swiming pool on roof top is just something unfergotable.
