Festive Treats at Yamazato
Our signature award-winning restaurant Yamazato is famous for bringing traditional Japanese celebrations to the heart of Bangkok and is the perfect location to celebrate the festive season with family, friends, and business associates. The seasonal menu at Yamazato includes festive Gozen lunch and Kaiseki dinner sets created by Master Chef Shigeru Hagiwara.
The Gozen lunch includes torched scallop served with dried fig and shrimp with walnut vinegar, crab dumpling with hint of yuzu soup, three kinds of sashimi, grilled amberjack with mushroom mayonnaise sauce served with simmered chestnut and pickled turnip, minced duck ball, daikon and spinach in soup, assorted tempura, simmered rice with oyster served with miso soup and pickles, and assorted fruits served with matcha pudding and sweet beans with egg yolk sauce.
The festive Kaiseki dinner includes fresh soy milk with okra, monkfish liver, shrimp, tenderstem broccoli, maitake mushroom with balsamic white miso sauce, sea urchin dumpling with mushroom with a hint of yuzu, four kinds of sashimi, grilled Spanish mackerel served with pork belly and vegetables topped with eryingi mushroom and zucchini sauce, simmered fish roe, turnip, royal fern roll with soy milk skin, ice fish with mixed egg yolk, assorted tempura with snow crab, pond smelt, sweet potato, maitake mushroom and asparagus, oyster vermicelli noodles served with dried gourd shaving sushi roll, and baked apple with matcha sauce and sweet beans served with vanilla ice cream.
