Seasonal Delights as Yamazato Japanese Restaurant Welcomes Spring
The Okura Prestige Bangkok’s MICHELIN Plate signature Japanese restaurant Yamazato celebrates the blossoming of Spring with a choice of special Gozen lunch platters and a multi-course Kaiseki dinner featuring ultra-fresh seasonal ingredients such as firefly squid, Asari clams and Sakura shrimp.
Highlights of the Gozen platters include a simmered rice dish with Sakura shrimp, ginger, nori-seaweed and salmon roe. Authentic tastes of springtime in Japan continue with the multi-course Kaiseki dinner. Standout dishes include a starter of firefly squid, steamed clam in sake and mountain vegetables, a soup of Asari clam dumpling, mushrooms, sakura blossoms and a touch of yuzu, and a spectacular simmered dish of sea bream roe, grilled shiitake mushroom, spinach, yuzu, bamboo shoot, carrot and butterbur.
